Room 7 had a fantastic week. We had a lesson from the SPCA about caring for animals and a visit from the Scottish Ambulance Service to help teach us what to do in an emergency situation.
We learned how to get in contact with the Ambulance Service and we found out what information they would need from us when we called. We even practiced giving some CPR so we could help someone in trouble.
The SPCA lesson was all focused on how to care for a pet rabbit. We discussed the importance of fully researching and understanding all an animal’s needs before considering adopting an animal. We had great fun practicing holding the rabbits.
We have been having so much fun learning about the emergency services and how to keep ourselves safe this term. We created our very own police hats, using repeated patterns, with Mrs Grayson in creativity.
