RSPB Big Garden Birdwatch

This week we worked with some of the P4 children and took part in the RSPB Big Garden Birdwatch.  We spent time in the playground listening and looking for birds.  When we saw one we used tally marks to record this in a table.

We saw some seagulls, crows, magpies and pigeons.  Some of us even caught sight of a robin hopping about!  Miss Petrie is going to feedback our survey results to the RSPB.  We have decided to try and look out for different types of birds in our own gardens and make up our own surveys.

Well done everyone for working so well together!
