The PTA organised a family ceilidh on Friday 2nd February, which was a fantastic success! All the classes had been learning Scottish dancing in PE and were keen to get on the dance floor to show this off to friends and family. So many people came in their tartan gear, and enjoyed the great music from ‘The Gordons Ceilidh Band’, the fantastic food on sale at the food vans, and the refreshments at the bar, as well as the very popular ‘Roll a Pound’ game at the interval. There were lots of tired faces by 9pm, but the PTA (and many other attendees) made short work of the tidying up, showing us the many hands do make light work! Thanks to all that helped out, all who attended, and to the staff for teaching the children dancing and helping them to produce art work for decorations.
